Hello there homemakers and welcome back to my blog, I will be sharing with everyone something I recently finished, our Homeschool Room! We’ve decided to homeschool the kids for this year because we didn’t think that online classes and modular learning were going to be effective for our two active boys. We needed to adjust during this pandemic and make sure that this will not affect their love to learn.
Everything was custom made by LA Upcycled so that I can save space by properly measuring the furniture. I didn’t have a lot of space to work with, so we made sure that everything had a perfect reason to be there.
The chairs were from Uyanguren, I was just walking to my car when I saw an old vendor selling the chairs. This brings back so many memories because we grew up having these chairs for parties.
The rattan boxes here were from our old changing table. Those boxes have been with us for 5 full years, making rattan one of our go-to organizing essentials. It gives the room a great rustic look and everything is kept well and organized. Inside are the boy’s school books, toys, science project materials, and some items from our Homeschool Provider. All the toys are from Shop Mommy Andrea, made to help the kids learn and have fun at the same time. We use the toys before we start our lessons, this gives the boys enough time to relax and get a feel of what we needed to do in a day. We also have the boy’s night light along with my Young Living diffuser. I don’t diffuse as much, but when I am having a hard time putting the kids to bed, Lavender has been very helpful.
This trolley cart has been everyone’s obsession during the quarantine and for a good reason! I find it very functional and organized. I bought the trolley cart from Lazada for 800 Pesos, and the organizer boxes and trays are from Shopee. This saved me a lot of time looking for materials because everything was already laid out and in separate boxes.
